Mentors and Club Ideas Needed
If you
are interested in providing mentorship to less experienced members of the club,
please send your name and interest (Surf or Boat fishing) to Jack at (jecreighton45@gmail.com 508-394-2983).
In
addition, if you have additional ideas on club activities and/or club
direction, send them to Jack as well.
November Informational Session
Reminder that we are planning to have informational
segments at regular meetings that will provide our members with tips and
techniques, plus other valuable fishing information. The November topic will be
“Braid – The Good News and the Bad News."
Newsletter Feedback Reminder
If you have any
Salty/Fishing/Environmental stories/suggestions/pictures that you would like to
see included in the website or newsletter, send it along to Pavicks@comcast.net
Here is the list to date
that is under discussion:

Published two weeks before that month’s meeting
along with notice of availability
·
Names and email addresses of club officers
·
Repeat of calendar of events (also on Home Page) with special, separate note of any event occurring in next
30 days.
·
Picture of member’s current catches that may have been submiited
·
A list of new members – names and towns. Use title “Welcome New Members”.
·
Minutes of last month’s meeting.
·
Feature next month’s speaker, presentation, etc.
·
As of that month, the latest standing in the club’s fishing contest along
with rules for contest and form to submit entries.
·
The Dec., Jan. and Feb. issues carry a reminder that membership renewals are due along with Membership Renewal Form.
·
Include Advertisers or a subset within the Newsletter
